Project MANAGER in Programming PHASE

The new science center will be a home to four departments - Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Sciences, which are all currently spread around the campus. In this programming exercise we worked collaboratively with the college to create spaces that bring theory and practice together in new ways by juxtaposing teaching spaces and lab areas to spur new

types of interaction and dialogue among

students and faculty.

Inspired by Community

A series of introductory interviews were done with staff and stakeholders,

capturing their values and vision for the future building through interactive activities like word clouds and visualization exercises.

Programming

The programming schemes embody a community

driven narrative resulting

from extensive context research. The main community values like allowing the science to be on display and maximizing green surface were all

captured in the 3 different  programming schemes.
